School of Architecture & Design, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) organised a two-day workshop ‘Passive Design Strategies for Building: A Step Towards Net Zero Future’. It aimed to acquaint students and professionals applying passive strategies in the design process and enhancing their understanding of the importance of net-zero buildings for the Indian context.

The inaugural session of the workshop began with a welcome and brief note by Dean, Faculty of Design, MUJ, Dr Madhura Yadav and Prof. Sunanda Kapoor talking about the sustainable practices adopted at the MUJ campus. This was followed by an overview of the workshop by Associate Director, GBCI, Mr Raman and Associate Professor, School of Architecture and Design, Ar. Bibhu K. Nayak.

The first session of the workshop was conducted by Mr Ram Khandelwal and Mr Kartik Girish from Urban Innovation Lab.
