Jaipur filmmaker Tanmay Singh’s short film, ‘Marilyn Lights’ is streaming now on Disney+ Hotstar. The film which marks the return of former Miss India Sayali Bhagat in the acting arena, had a grand festival run before its OTT release. The Film has earlier been showcased internationally in Toronto, Chicago, New York, Virginia, Spain and Netherlands amongst others and also garnered 20 plus awards including those of ‘Best Film’ and ‘Best Director’. Tanmay’s next venture is a feature length documentary film called ‘Abhinetri’ which explores the history of Indian cinema via the contribution of female actors. ‘Abhinetri’ features actresses like Nandita Das, Rasika Duggal, Swara Bhasker, Rohini Hattangady, Tulip Joshi, Manjari Fadnis, Renunka Shahane and Madhoo amongst plenty of others. The film festival circuit is eagerly awaiting its premiere in the year 2023.
