The 2- day workshop entitled ‘The Story Tree – Weaving Magic through Stories’ commenced on 09 December at Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) with enthusiastic participation from children.
The workshop was structured with a vision to encourage children between the age group of 5-9 years to fall in love with books and reading. Over the course of 2- day children will be exposed to both, Indian and Western stories and poems. This will help them develop their vocabulary, create an interest in reading and compose stories and poems.
The workshop was being held in the Junior Reading Room from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. It was taught in both English and Hindi by Ms. Pallavi Singh and Ms. Gayatri Rajwade.
