Special children visit city palace museum

Around 100 students of RAYS – Asha Ki Ek Kiran and Faith (homes for HIV+ children) visited the MSMSII Museum on 03 December. They saw its collection and understood the traditions associated with it. A special puppet show was also put up for them.

The visit was a part of the week-long festivities which will feature special guided walkthroughs of the Museum, with the curatorial staff and volunteers. Activities like story-telling sessions, puppet shows and art competitions have also been organized for the students.

It is to be recalled that Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum (MSMSIIM) was celebrating the birth anniversary of Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh with the school children of Jaipur.

These walkthrough highlighted the unique features of the Museum like the tactile aids, galleries and toilets well-equipped with ramp access.
