Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School, Jaipur successfully hosted its inspiring Annual Function , themed on “Stories of Courage and Triumph,” on October 17, 2025, at Birla Auditorium. The event was a profound tribute to the human spirit, celebrating real-life individuals who demonstrated extraordinary courage and resilience, with the narratives brought to life through powerful plays and dynamic dances.
The evening commenced with the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a soulful Ganesh Vandana performed as a Kathak dance, setting an auspicious and traditional tone. The presentation of the Annual Report highlighted the school’s commitment to excellence and its ranking as one of the top co-educational schools in the city.
The function was graced by Rajkumari Gauravi Kumari Ji as the Chief Guest. In her address, she lauded the students for their powerful performances and said that they are a testament to the character MSBSS instills.
She said that she has always believed that schools play a crucial role in shaping socially responsible individuals. The emphasis MSBSS places on community engagement is truly commendable. Initiatives such as donation drives, the Each One Teach One programme, Learn to Earn activities, and various projects aimed at supporting underprivileged children are wonderful examples of students stepping out to make a difference. As someone who has been closely involved in community work, she strongly feels that these experiences nurture compassion and empathy and build the foundation for meaningful change.
She also appreciated the school’s consistent excellence in the field of sports, making a special mention of the Girls’ Handball Team, who won the Gold Medal for the fifth consecutive year at the CBSE West Zone Tournament, a remarkable achievement that reflects the school’s focus on holistic development.
