On behalf of HRAR and Olympian Apurvi Chandela

 

Jaipur, 26 April: Two cheques worth Rs. 2,11,000 (Rupees Two Lakhs Eleven Thousand) were presented for the Annapurna Rasoi Yojana to the Principal Secretary, LSG, Government of Rajasthan, Dr. Manjit Singh today. The first cheque was for Rs. 1,11,000 (Rupees One Lakhs Eleven Thousand) and was presented on behalf of Hotel & Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR).  The cheque was presented by the President of HRAR, Kuldeep Singh Chandela; Secretary, Aashish Anand;  Treasurer, Kunal Kuchhal and Joint Secretary, Mohan Singh Mertia.

The other cheque of Rs. 1,00,000  (Rupees One Lakhs)  was presented on behalf of Apurvi Chandela the Olympian Rifle Shooter, by her father Kuldeep Singh Chandela. He said on the occasion that Apurvi sends her gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Smt. Vasundhara Raje for giving free residential plots and agriculture land to international medal winners. She also requested that the Hon’ble Chief Minister consider giving jobs of State Services to international medalists. Presently Apurvi is attending a training camp in Delhi.

It is to be recalled that Annapurna Rasoi Yojana was launched by the Hon’ble Chief Minister on 15 December, 2016 and provides food at very reasonable cost.
