Jayshree Periwal International School’s Annual Day of the Primary Years Programme (PYP), was a vibrant success celebrating learning, showcasing the unique inquiry-based learning approach that the IB PYP offers. The programme started with ‘JPites in Symphony’—a rendition of the orchestra mesmerizing the audience with their euphonious concerto. The melodious musical journey continued with young learners showcasing their singing prowess in Hindi & English Choir songs. The Annual Report, highlighting the achievements of the JPites was presented by the primary students. It was followed by the award ceremony. After the prize distribution, in her motivating speech, the dynamic Chairperson Dr  Jayshree Periwal said that apart from their excellent academic performance, JPites have also  excelled in co-curricular activities. She urged her JPites to continue to aim for the stars and keep shining bright.

The cultural extravaganza began with the glittering bonanza of theme dance performances. The ebullient dancers coloured the evening & showcased various emotions (Nav Ras) of joy, fear, love, courage, anger, amazement, disgust, calmness & sadness. From giving tribute to our heroes like Prithviraj Chauhan, Sarabhjeet Singh to celebrating the success of moon landing, building of Ram  temple etc., the audience was spellbound.
The annual function rode to a final crescendo with the fascinating tale of ‘Charlie and the  Chocolate Factory’. The little JPites portrayed the marvelous world of Charlie & his friends and  their quest to win the golden ticket to visit the largest factory of chocolaterie Willy Wonka in the  town. The power packed performance was worth a watch. The young proficient actors won the  hearts of the audience with their raw talent, acting skills, confident dialogue delivery and of course,  innocence. This indeed shows that for JPites, even the sky is not the limit.

At the end of the show the Vote of Thanks was delivered by the students. The spectacular and impeccable performances of the young artists displays the hidden talent. Such a grand show served as a reflection of the hard work and dedication of students and teachers, highlighting the school’s commitment to developing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
