MP Diya Kumari met Railway Board Chairman, Mr Suneet Sharma (Member-Infra, Traffic, Finance and Railway Board). During the meeting, she discussed various pending issues related to railways in Rajsamand parliamentary constituency. Mr Sharma assured that necessary action will be taken to complete the works and solve the problems.
The MP urged to start the work of Mavli-Marwar gauge conversion as well as the new railway line of Bar-Bilara, Pushkar-Merta and Nathdwara to Nathdwara city soon. Similarly, she also sought to appeal for the construction of the railway overbridge on LC No. 72 on Chandarun road in Degana as well as develop facilities at Ren, Merta and Beawar stations. She also discussed removing the problem of water logging in various underpasses in the Lok Sabha constituency and making stoppages of various trains in Gotan, Ren and Merta.
