An exclusive screening of the recently released film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ was organized at Inox Crystal Palm for the children and representatives of the foundation – ‘Prayas’ Jaipur and ‘Parivaar Autism Charitable Trust’, NGOs dedicated to special children in the city. This initiative was taken by ‘Rasa Welfare Foundation’ and ‘Sway with Shruti’ with the aim of providing support to these NGOs. During this, about 50 special children from the NGO and representatives of the foundation enjoyed the film. Trustees of ‘Rasa Welfare Foundation’ Rupali Seth, Alia Seth and Minal Sahni along with founder of ‘Sway with Shruti’, Shruti Khandelwal were present at the event.
On this occasion, Trustee of Rasa Welfare Foundation, Rupali Seth said that “The basic idea of the film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ is ‘Everyone is Normal’. It has been presented beautifully in the film. To spread this idea among the people, today we have organized this exclusive screening for children with special needs. The special thing about this initiative is that the entire amount received from this screening was provided to ‘Prayas’ and ‘Parivaar Autism Charitable Trust’ as a contribution, so that these organizations can be helped in furthering their purpose more strongly.”
Shruti Khandelwal, Founder of ‘Sway with Shruti’ said, “We are glad that people not only participated enthusiastically in furthering this special cause but also supported it wholeheartedly. Due to this, the screening was also housefull. Sharing the idea behind this event, she said that its aim is to promote inclusiveness. Along with this, a positive environment for these special people in the society and also to spread awareness.
During this, various types of products made by the special children of these foundations were also displayed.
