‘Rajasthan Festival’ Closing Ceremony Preparations
Jaipur, 21 March: Janpath, the road opposite the Vidhan Sabha, will remain closed for public beginning tomorrow (22 March) owing to the preparations for the grand closing ceremony of ‘Rajasthan Festival’ scheduled to be held on 30 March. The road will remain closed till 31 March.
Today, a joint review and recce was done by the Department of Tourism and the Traffic Police today. Bearing in mind the extensive preparations for the closing ceremony, which involves a laser show, a decision was taken to block the road for public use. The public is advised to use alternative routes. This was informed by the officials of the Department of Tourism.
It is to be recalled that in the past years too the Janpath remains closed for public for such events.
