After an energetic second day filled with exciting football matches, St. Xavier’s Nevta and St. Anselm’s Pink City will be going head to head at the ‘Finals’ of the 3-day Inter School Football Tournament: ‘Arrupe Cup 2019’ to be played tomorrow at St. Xavier’s School, Nevta. In the semi-finals matches played St. Xavier’s School, Nevta (Team A) defeated St. Xavier, Nevta (Team B) by 1 goal. Similarly, St. Anselm’s Pink City defeated Neerja Modi School by 1 goal. This was informed by Principal of St. Xavier’s School, Nevta, Father John Ravi.
Exciting football matches were held throughout the day in which St Xavier’s School Nevta (Team A) defeated St. Mary’s Convent by 4 goals; Neerja Modi School defeated St. Xavier’s C-Scheme by 3 goals; St. Xavier. Nevta (Team B) defeated St. Anselm’s Mansarovar by 1 goal. In a tie-breaker match between St. Anselm’s Pink and Delhi Public School, the former defeated the latter by 1 goal.
