 MP Diya Kumari met Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan during the Monsoon Session of the Parliament. She urged for the opening of Kendriya Vidyalayas in Merta, Rajsamand and Bhim assembly constituencies falling under the Rajsamand parliamentary constituency.

On meeting Dharmendra Pradhan, who is now handling the Ministry of Education in the Modi Government, MP Diya Kumari said that the sooner the process of approval of the Kendriya Vidyalayas are done, the more students will get the benefit in the coming session. Exceptional work has been done in the field of education under the direction of the Union Government.

The MP said that Kendriya Vidyalaya has an important role in imparting quality school education. Such  education can shape the future of the student for which Kendriya Vidyalayas should be established in the needful areas. It is necessary to get permission to open Kendriya Vidyalayas for the entire Rajsamand Lok Sabha constituency to gain its benefits. The Union Education Minister assured that the scope of education would be expanded through Kendriya Vidyalayas.

It is to be noted that the distance of the Kendriya Vidyalaya from Merta is 80 km, which is not suitable for Merta. Similarly, Rajsamand is the headquarters of the district and parliamentary constituency and there are a large number of ex-servicemen in Bhim Sub Division.
