Jaipur’s Young Golfer, Ojaswini Saraswat, representing Rajasthan, has triumphed at her fourth national tournament held at Oxford Golf Resorts, Pune. With rounds of 73, 69, and 75, she secured the national title by two strokes, marking her third victory this year.
Despite trailing by two strokes on day one, Ojaswini showcased exceptional skill and determination to take the lead on day two. On the final day, she clinched the title even after facing a controversial two-stroke penalty.
Ojaswini expressed gratitude to her coach, Mr. Laurence Brotheridge, and her family for their unwavering support. Last month, she finished second in her third national event after recovering from dengue. It is worth mentioning that out of the four national tournaments played this year, she has won three titles. It is noteworthy that she trains hard and practices regularly at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur to hone her skills.
