Rajasthan Foundation, under the Department of Industry and Commerce, Government of Rajasthan, is establishing its chapters in the country and abroad with the aim of strengthening continuous dialogue and engagement with the overseas Rajasthanis. In this series, Jaipur’s Tribhuvan Khandelwal has been nominated as the first President of Tokyo (Japan) Chapter. This appointment has been made by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Chairman of Rajasthan Foundation, Mr. Bhajanlal Sharma. The core objective of the Foundation is to connect the overseas Rajasthanis settled across the world with their home states.
Mr Khandelwal is a renowned overseas Rajasthani who is actively involved in business, social service and cultural activities in Japan. Expressing elation over this new responsibility, Tribhuvan said, “It is indeed a matter of pride that I have been given this prestigious appointment by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Mr Bhajanlal Sharma. This is not just a responsibility but a means to deepen my connect with my home state. I will try to bring together the expatriate Rajasthanis settled in Tokyo and Japan and inspire them to actively participate in the social, cultural and economic development of Rajasthan.”
