Rajasthan Tourism continues its winning streak of receiving coveted tourism awards in different categories of popular international travel magazines.
 In a glittering function at ITC Maurya New Delhi on late Tuesday evening, Rajasthan Tourism bagged the two most prestigious favourite cities category awards in the 9th Conde Nast Traveller India Readers’ Travel Awards 2019.  Jaipur, the Pink City bagged the number 2 (Runner up) favourite city in India award. Similarly, Udaipur won the award for the favourite leisure destination in India. These awards were received by Rajasthan Tourism Delegation comprising of Parbatsar MLA, Mr. Ramniwas Gawriya and Additional Director Tourism, Mr. Sanjay Pande. . A large number of tourism fraternity were present on the occasion.

The awards have been conferred on the basis of choices given by the readers.

On the occasion Mr Gawriya said that Rajasthan has indeed emerged as a popular tourism destination. It has strong tourism products by way of heritage cities, forts and palaces, monuments, wildlife sanctuaries among others. Under the able leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Ashok Gehlot and Hon’ble Rajasthan Tourism Minister, Mr Vishvendra Singh,  Rajasthan will see further strengthening of tourism infrastructure and development of new circuits. 
The Additional Director, Mr Pande said that Rajasthan has the magic charm of rich heritage which is unmatched in the country.
