Students from as many as 9 schools of Jaipur learnt the art of sound editing and recording in workshop organised at City Palace on 05 December. They were taught sound editing by Mr. Deepak Kumar and Mr. Kartika Bajoria of ‘We Are Able Foundation’. During the workshop, they were given tips on Voice Modulation and taught the process of voice recording.

Mr. Kumar and Mr. Bajoria will also be conducting sound recording and voice modulation workshops in the 9 participating schools. All the schools will collaborate to record the NCERT textbook for selected subjects of English, History, Geography, Political Science and Economics for Grade 9 and 10. The theatre teachers of the schools will assist in creating different voices. The schools will finish the work in a month after which the museum will be compiling it. The compiled work will be used by visually impaired or any other student.

Participating schools included The Palace School, Sanskar School Maharani Gayatri Devi School for Girls, Maharaja Sawai Mansingh Vidyalaya, Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School, Tagore International School, S.V. Public School, among others. The schools attended with their teachers and volunteers.
