- The Story Tree – Weaving Magic through Stories Workshop

A 2- day workshop entitled ‘The Story Tree – Weaving Magic through Stories’ will be held on the23 and 24 September at Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK). The workshop has been structured with a vision to encourage children between the age group of 5-9 years to fall in love with books and reading. Over the course of 2- day children will be exposed to both, Indian and Western stories and poems. This will help them develop their vocabulary, create an interest in reading and compose stories and poems.
The workshop will be held in the Junior Reading Room from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. It will be taught in both English and Hindi by Ms. Pallavi Singh and Ms. Gayatri Rajwade. Forms for registration will be available on the website and at the JKK reception. The fees for the workshop is Rs 200/- per child. The workshop has limited seats on first come first serve basis only.
