As a prelude to the festival of Makar Sankranti, JKK is set to host ‘Patang Dor’— a free workshop on kite making and kite flying. The workshop which will be held on 13 January from 10 am to 1 pm is open for the children in the age group of 8 to 14 years.
Apart from kite making and kite flying sessions, this workshop also has a story telling session for the kids. The objective of the workshop is to give wings to creativity of children. They will have the opportunity to listen, look and learn how to make a kite and fly on their own.
The workshop will be held at Junior Reading Room of JKK. Interested candidates can register online which is on the first come first serve basis. Forms are available on the website of JKK as well as at the reception.
