Air Rifle and Pistol Events
Jaipur’s Olympian Rifle shooter Apurvi Chandela has been appointed to the Rifle and Pistol Section Sub Committee for Policy Formation till 2021. This was announced by the President of National Rifle Association of India (NRAI). Tika Raninder Singh. Other Olympian top shooters like Gagan Narang, Suma Shirur are also in the Sub-Committee.With Randhir Singh as the Convener, other members of the 7-member committee are Deepali Deshpande, D.S Chandel and Mikhailov Oleg.
Apurvi is the first shooter from Rajasthan to be selected for the position. She is now in Delhi to join the National Training Camp.
