Jaipur, 11 March: The world renowned Indian classical vocalist Padam Bhushan Pt. Rajan and Sajan Mishra today performed at the ‘Music in The Park’ at the Central Park in Jaipur. On the occasion they performed on Raag Shri.
Based on the raag they performed composition ‘Dhenu Charawat Aawat Kanha’ in madya laya teen taal. The second composition ‘Ab mohi baahi gaho deenanath’. The bandish was based on dhrut ek taal.
On the occasion they were accompanied by Abhishek Mishra on Tabla, Sumit Mishra on harmonium and Saurabh Vashisth & Varun Jain on Tanpura.
The event was organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan along with the Jaipur Development Authority and Spic Macay.
