On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School (MGD) an Exhibition Polo Match was organised between the school team and the Rajasthan Polo Club (RPC). In an exciting match, MGD won by one goal (5-4) against the RPC. For MGD team the goals were scored by H.H. Maharaja Padmanabh Singh (2 goals), Ashwani Sharma (2 goals) and Vandit Golecha as well as Vicky Nihalani (1 goal each). The RPC team scored 4 goals with Ransher Singh Rathore scoring 2 goals and Ranshay Pareek and Kuldeep Singh Rathore scoring 1 goal each. The fourth player was Pratap Kanota.
The Chief Guest was Rajmata Padmini Devi who gave away the trophy and the awards. Also present on the occasion were Maharaj Jai Singh, Rani Vidya Devi, Principal, Archana S. Mankotia, Jane Himmat Singh and Nirmala Durlabhji. A large number of MGD alumni cheered the team.
