The School of Pharmaceutical Management, IIHMR University, Jaipur, is inviting students across India to participate in all India online essay contest- ‘Manthan 2018’.
Faculty and Program Coordinator of the essay contest Dr. Saurabh Kumar Banerjee, said that the essay contest is organized with an objective to utilize the imagination and creativity of budding graduates in understanding the various facets of pharmaceutical field. Dr. Banerjee further added that this will help them to explore new career avenues in the field of pharmaceutical management.
The eligible candidates should be final and third year students of B. Pharm, students who have completed their B.Pharm/Science/Biotechnology/Life Sciences degree and the 4th and 5th year students of Pharm.D.
The students are invited to write an essay on any one of the following topics — Generic versus branded medicines; Career prospects as pharmaceutical product manager and combating antibiotic resistance.
The candidate securing the first three positions will receive a prize money of Rs. 10,000, Rs, 5000 and Rs. 3000 respectively along with a certificate of merit. A Certificate of Participation will be provided by IIHMR-U to all the participants. The evaluation will be on the basis of originality, relevance to the topic and adherence to the guidelines mentioned in the information brochure.
