The students of Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School (MSBSS) today celebrated the Annual Function at Birla Auditorium. They put up a melange of skits, dances and street plays through which they depicted their dreams and aspirations and conveyed social messages. The programme also conveyed the message of universal brotherhood through enactments of stories and dances from Japan, China, Russia, India etc.

The programme was divided into two parts: the first half comprising of students of Classes III, IV & V, in which the Chief Guest was Olympian Woman Trap shooter, Ms. Shagun Chowdhary. In the second half were performances of students of class I and II as well as pre-primary (Bubbles). In this programme, the Chief Guest was the renowned woman squash player, Ms. Surbhi Mishra.

The Director of the school, Princess Diya Kumari was also present on the occasion. In her message to the students, she said: “Children are the future of our nation and I am very pleased to see the right values and morals being inculcated in them to build future citizens with a strong character, attitude and ethics.”

Both, Shagun Chowdhary and Surbhi Mishra lauded the vision and relentless hard work done by the students and their mentors for presenting such a message-oriented programme.

The Principal, Ms. Vaidehi Singh also read out the annual report which highlighted the achievements of the school students.
