“INNOVATION, MULTI DISCIPLINARY APPROACH AND EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING ADVANTAGEOUS FOR STUDENTS”

A Multi-Disciplinary and Multi-cultural approach along with Innovation is what makes studying at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) advantageous for the students. With the help of various curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and clubs such as Green Club, Robotics Club etc. students are exposed to experiential learning at MUJ. This was stated by President, MUJ, Dr. GK Prabhu at the Orientation programme for the non-engineering freshers of Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ).
Dr. Prabhu further informed that the Atal Incubation Centre established at MUJ with the purpose of promoting the culture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship has since its inception, pre-incubated 18 startups in the field of Healthcare, IT Solutions, Digital Platform, Electricity Conservation, among others.
On the occasion the Pro-President, Prof. N.N. Sharma addressed the gathering on the topic of University Leadership. Earlier the Registrar of MUJ, Professor Ravishankar H Kamath welcomed the 800 students and their parents at the Orientation Programme. The Dean Student Welfare, Professor GL Sharma threw light on the students activities at the MUJ. Later, during the day the students and the parents met the Heads of the Department.
It is to be noted that the multi-disciplinary university offers non-engineering career-oriented courses in Fashion Designing, Fine Arts, Hospitality, Humanities, Journalism and Mass Communication, Basic Sciences, Law, Commerce, Computer Applications, Management, among others.
