A unique feature of the ‘India Stonemart 2019’ was the foreign pavilions from Turkey, Italy and China. As many as 63 companies from Turkey, 61 from China and 9 from Italy set up their stalls at the mart. Among them ‘Stone Library’ displayed the popular ‘Shakespeare Grey’, ‘Frapuccino’, ‘Café de Paris’ and ‘Grey William’ varieties of marble. Whereas, ‘Marmor’ presented 55 marble varieties from over 1000 quarries in Turkey. Unique colour combinations and patterns of marble like – Grey Milano, Lilac White, Silver River, Golden Spider, among others were exhibited at the ‘Babomar’ booth.
Stalls from China like ‘Jinshan Stonetools’, ‘Kete Machinery’, ‘Loyalty Enterprise Development’, among others displayed premium quality machinery and tools at the mart. ‘Jinshan Stonetools’ showcased Frankfurt Abrasives for Marble, Drill Bits, Magnesite Abrasives, Polishing Wheels, Saw Blades and much more. ‘Kete Machinery’ exhibited its core products like automatic polishing machine, bridge saw and automatic stone border profiling machines.
Similarly, companies from Italy also displayed the high-quality marble from their own quarries. ‘Donatoni Macchine’ displayed high-innovation stone machinery, plants for marble and granite processing like – CNC bridge saws, work centers, cutting centers, polishing, shaping and milling machines. These machines are capable of performing the most varied operations with great performance and production flexibility.
It is to be recalled that ‘India Stonemart 2019’ was organised by Centre for Development of Stones (CDOS) with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) as co-organiser and is supported by the Government of Rajasthan and other reputed institutions.
