To create awareness amongst students about scope of career avenues in some of the fastest growing sectors, counselling sessions were held at IIHMR University and Hotel Park Inn in Jaipur yesterday. These sessions are being organised by IIHMR University.
The counselling sessions focused on educating students about the lucrative career opportunities in the healthcare sector. The sessions were conducted by faculty from IIHMR-U, Dr. Sushmit Jain (IIHMR University, Sanganer) and Dr. Veena Nair Sarkar and Priyanka Swami (Hotel Park Inn, Bani Park). The students were informed about the admission procedure, teaching style, course modules and campus life. They were given tips on aptitude tests, personal interviews, group discussions and various scholarships that can facilitate the admission. The students were guided in MBA in courses of Hospital and Health Management, Pharmaceutical Management and Rural Management.
The IIHMR-University is organising these counselling drives in various cities Pan-Rajasthan. Other than Jaipur, sessions were also organised in Jodhpur and Udaipur yesterday. Earlier, these sessions have been held in Kota and Ajmer and will now follow in other cities of Rajasthan like Pali on 24 May (Hotel Mint Inn, Near bus stand), Sri Ganganagar on 30 May (Hotel Black Panther, CGR Mall) and Bikaner on 1 June (Hotel Sagar, Lalgarh Palace Campus).
