Jaipur’s 10-meter air rifle Olympian shooter, Apurvi Chandela continues to retain her world no. 1 ranking. On Thursday she bagged a silver medal in mixed doubles at the ISSF World Cup in Munich, Germany – taking her overall lead to 2809 points. She had also bagged her second Gold Medal in the same Championship at Munich on 26 May. On the slot no. 2 is also India’s Anjum Moudgil who has 1738 points.   

 Apurvi is now preparing for next World Cup Competition to be held at Rio De Janeiro in Brazil and World Cup final at China this year.

 It is to be recalled that Apuri has already qualified for 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
