Jaipur, 10 March: As you are aware, One of India’s supreme challenge today is its increasing unemployment rate. Ironically, India is said to have the highest youth population in the world. According to the 2010 population figures, one in every five young people in the world is an Indian. However, the industry does not seem to get access to this group. Industry routinely indicates the challenge of getting skilled resources and timely availability of these resources. On the other hand, there are students seeking job opportunities but don’t know where to find them.
To address and brainstorm on these issues, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising the next edition of Skills & HR Conclave on 15 March 2017 at Jaipur. This will be the 10th Edition of HR Conclave. The Theme for Skills & HR Conclave is “Education to Skilling to Employment: Designing a System that Works”. The objective of organising Skills and HR Conclave 2017 is to provide a platform to the stakeholders to discuss, brainstorm and evaluate the efforts put in for creating skilled workforce in the state as per the requirements of the industry and challenges being faced as also to share and promote best practices in the sector. It will also have discussions on the best practices in HR to retain best talent pool.
